LMBT Welcome Center

In 2009, Lower Mount Bethel Township's Welcome Center was dedicated as an environmental and eco-tourism facility.  The Welcome Center will also be the headquarters for the MJWA and also  host environmental programs presented by PPL and other groups.  The center located at 7701 Martins Creek/Belvidere Highway, Bangor, PA 18013 was build primarily with funds from the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission.   PPL besides donating cash also donated a prime piece of real estate located adjacent to the village of Riverton for the construction of the Welcome Center.
